10/03/2022 - parkrunday!

For the last parkrunday of February, 26 runners stepped up to the trails of @conkersparkrun for the final week of the Captains parkrun challenge. There’s been a fabulous competitive spirit generated post run as runners compare their all important finishing token with their prediction (if they remembered their guess that is!) and we give a massive thanks to Gemma and Louis for a super creative fun way to keep everyone motivated throughout the month. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

This weekend an even bigger turnout of 36 Ivanhoes rocked up at Conkers and it was milestones galore. A big round of applause please for:

๐ŸŒŸ DAMON BLAND: 250 PARKRUNS ๐ŸŒŸ

โœจ KEITH BARON: 100 PARKRUNS โœจ

๐Ÿ’ซ CHRISSY BETTERIDGE: 25 PARKRUNS ๐Ÿ’ซ

Well done to you all! ๐Ÿฅณ

A big thanks to Fiona Betts and Mark Bradford who stepped up to volunteer this week, along with anyone from the week before too!

At their usual stomping grounds of Long Eaton and Newark, Richard Martin and Bob White could be found doing their thing.

Staying in the Midlands, Faye Burrows checked out Shipley Country parkrun, whilst Mindy and Ken Ashton and Pete and Laura Graves were at the very hilly, old colliery site that now hosts Gedling parkrun.

Alphabet collecting as part of a weekend away, Victoria parkrun, Glasgow was the location for Chris and Carolyn Osbourne, whilst Emily Partridge and Mark Parker had a jaunt round the flat three laps of Storeys Field parkrun, and Fiona McKean spent the morning at Talkin Tarn Country Park parkrun.
