12/01/2022 - Celebration Evening Jan 2022 Pt3

Next up to be awarded at our celebration night were those that really gave it their all throughout the whole year, and by racking up 5 (or 9 for distinction!!) different distances they were able to claim their standard medals.

Our club standards scheme is available to each and every one of our runners. By age group and gender, there are times to achieve across nine different categories, from Tungsten through to Rhodium. Pick your target, and away you go. ๐Ÿ

Normally your standards would only be achieved from in person races, but for the past two years runners have had the opportunity to tackle them virtually in the absence of events to have a crack at.

So without any further ado, a big round of applause is due for…

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Matt Pleass achieving Tungsten

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Kim Harris achieving Tungsten Distinction

๐Ÿฅณ Sonia Hoult & Lynne Munro achieving Pewter

๐Ÿš“ Sarah Malone achieving Copper

๐Ÿฅ‰ Louis Barnes & Robin Edlin achieving Bronze

๐ŸฅˆEmily Wideman, Lisa Hall, Mindy Ashton, Mark Bradford, James Ogilvie & Andrew Stanley achieving Silver

๐Ÿช™ Fiona Betts achieving Silver Distinction

๐Ÿฅ‡ Laura Graves achieving Gold

๐Ÿ’Ž Abby Halcarz achieving Diamond

A massive well done to you all! We hope you felt proud wearing your handmade medals thanks to Jim at JB Laser Solutions.

Will you be aiming for a standard this year? Which colour do you have your ๐Ÿ‘€ on?
