With members in at least eight different races last weekend, Ivanhoe Runners were in action over many distances in at least three countries. 

The largest contingent were in Nottingham for the Robin Hood full and half marathons. Only Ian Kirk did the full trip, and after twisting his ankle earlier in the week was pleased to be sub-4 with a time of 3.55.30. In the half marathon, 22 Ivanhoe Runners took part, led home by Richard Martin in 1.26.24 (81st overall), ahead of Alistair Chambers who ran 1.30.33. Mark Parker only just beat Patrick Horn, Mark clocking 1.36.55 to Patrick's 1.36.57 - a time some 6 minutes quicker than in 2016. 

Running buddies Martin Rowse and Kevin Brown were next home clocking 1.43.40 and 1.45.12, while Becca Hobbs was first Ivanhoe woman home in 1.46.26, ahead of Sophie Cooper 1.48.20 and Andrea Trickett 1.49.06. Lindsay Tilbury ran 1.58.14 and Richard Hope 1.59.52 to break the two hour barrier.

Shane Stanton was just outside two hours, clocking 2.01.14, with a long gap the to Emily Partridge in 2.14.26. Lauren Richardson as delighted to set a new personal best despite the very warm conditions, clocking 2.17.35. Alicia Sharman was next home in 2.22.18, followed by a strong contingent of Ivanhoe women - Jenny Hope 2.24.07, Grania Towle 2.24.27, Jessica Southwart 2.28.47, Sarah Rickett 2.33.21, and Michelle Withey 2.36.50. Completing the successful team were Marie Miller in 2.55.15 and Diane Brocklesby 2.57.06.
