Some Ivanhoe Runners were tackling longer distances. Tim Moore and Andy Jones took part in the South Cheshire 20, and were both pleased with the times for their first time at the distance. Andy clocked 2.31.13 and Tim 2.47.23. Meanwhile, after a swift midweek fell race with the Barrel Inn Fell Race, Andy Lindley set a new personal best for 20 miles with a time of 2.26.46 in 30th place in the Golden Ball 20 in Lancashire.

In the Wolverhampton half marathon, Mark Hoult recorded a fast time of 1.44.12 to keep his standards chase on track, while in the Kenilworth half marathon Steve Baggott clocked 1.23.58 and Tor Leigh clocked 1.52.35 to set a new personal best.
