Ivanhoe Runners Patrick Horn and Tim Moore both claimed personal bests at the Colin Potter 10k, where Patrick clocked 42.58 to knock well over a minute off, and Tim shaved a second off his previous best set in recent weeks to clock 47.55. Marie Concannon also set a new personal best, for 5 miles when completing the Lutterworth 5 in 44.31.

In the Ticknall Relays, an Ivanhoe Ladies team came 19th overall n 59.32, with legs from Victoria Smith 15.05, Carolyn Osborne 15.39, Rosie Dear 14.19 and Ingrid Stevenson 14.29.

Marathon man Ian Kirk ran yet another epic race, the seventh day of the Great Barrow 10 marathons in 10 days challenge. Covering 27 miles due to a navigational hitch, on a tough course and in very hot conditions Ian clocked 4 hours 17 minutes. Also in the heat and on an undulating course, Andy Lindley ran the Wyre Forest half marathon in 1 hour 55 minutes.
