02/04/2017 - Loughborough 1/2, Lincoln 10k

In the Loughborough half marathon, nine Ivanhoe Runners competed with at least two prize-winners. The first of these was first man home for the club Alistair Chambers, who finishing in 20th place in 1.25.33 was the first vet 50 in the race. Behind him and clocking a speedy 1.32.16 was Eliza Wrenne, who was both third lady overall and first vet 35 in the race, a great performance. Tom Smith was 66th in 1.34.21, ahead of Patrick Horn 110th in 1.41.57 and Pav Mazur, in his first half marathon as a club member, 157th in 1.47.13.

Next home was Sophie Cooper who ran 1.52.40, followed by Tor Meadows-Evans 1.58.55, Helen Smith 2.05.08 and Sarah Malone 2.12.22.

Mark Parker is currently "flying" and his trail of personal bests continued as he clocked 38.44 in the Lincoln 10k, where Emily Partridge also clocked a swift 48.18.
