One Ivanhoe Runner flying at the moment is Mark Parker - having set a 5k personal best on Saturday Mark travelled to Wrexham for a 20 miler, and clocked a fine 2.35.28. Also travelling for a 20 miler was Damon Bland, to the Stafford / Knighton 20. He clocked a personal best time of 2.49.12 but probably won't revisit the race next year !

A strong team of Ivanhoe Runners chasing fast 10k times forwent Markfield for the fast and flat Fradley 10k. it paid off as four of the ten gained personal bests and for at last three it was their debut over the distance. Dave Hobbs was first home for Ivanhoe in 35th place with a time of 38.31, just outside his time from 2015. Andy Lindley had targeted this race and his reward was a personal best by nearly 40 seconds as he clocked 41.20. Bec Hobbs was next home in 45.35, ahead of the fast improving Helen Smith who set a new personal best time of 49.29, smashing her previous best. Marie Concannon ran a personal best 58.31, just ahead of Alicia Sharman, clocking 59.28 on her debut. Also making her club debut over 10k was Michelle Withey, and she clocked a fine 1.02.28.
