The next round of the Derby Runner League cross-country series took place on one of many people's favourite courses, at Bradgate Park. With other popular events taking place the same day the Ivanhoe Runners squad was missing a few regulars but still fielded a 36 strong team.

First home for the men was Ramzi Sidani in 35th in 35.22, followed by club captain Nick Rowles 59th in 36.34, Matt Brocklehurst 64th in 36.47, Matthew Pleass 76th in 37.31, Chris Lockhart 85th in 38.04, Mark Parker 116th in 39.20, Andy Lindley 134th in 40.29 and Pav Mazur 151st in 41.11. These scoring eight brought the men's team home in 10th place out of the 22 teams competing, and places them third in League 2 after three races.

The ladies team were led home by Ellie Armstrong having a great run, finishing 7th in 38.42. Behind her, Emily Wideman looked string as she blasted the hills for 29th place in 42.50, and support by the ever-dependable Rosie Dear (46th, 44.08) and racing machine Karen Bell (58th, 46.16), the scoring ladies finished an excellent 5th out of 25 teams. This keeps them second in League 1, a great performance.

The combined team were 6th on the day, and now lie an excellent third in League 1.  

Other Ivanhoe men taking on the event were Steve Baggott (170th, 41.49), Mark Bradford (176th, 42.12), Martin Yeomans (195th, 43.37), Damon Bland (214th, 44.40), Bob White (229th, 45.20), Alan Edwards (237th, 45.52) and Mark Hoult (275th, 48.56). The ladies also fielded Emily Partridge (68th, 47.02), Teresa Talbott (75th, 47.45), Carolyn Osborne (100th, 49.51), Sarah Malone (106th, 50.44), Helen Smith (111th, 51.08), Trish McPherson (150th, 54.42), Christine Ridley (162nd, 56.19), Karen Edwards (166th, 56.35), Michelle Withey (183rd, 61.28), Lucy Allsop (184th, 61.29), Sonia Hoult (198th, 69.25) and Katie Fox (199th, 69.26).
