Three Ivanhoe Runners took part in the inaugral Brooksies Bash, a 10 mile trail race from Foremark School, and taking in footpaths around Foremark, Ticknall and Staunton Harold reservoir.

The Ivanhoe men were at the front of the race, with Phil Stevenson a fine 6th overall in 1.12.14 and Alistair Chambers 8th and first vet50 in 1.13.02. Ladies captain Victoria Smith had a good run to clock 1.32.12 for the tough, hilly route run in very warm conditions.
