Ivanhoe Runners had another massive week with both midweek and weekend races. Wednesday evening saw the Washlands Relays moved to a Lawns Farm venue in Burton due to flooding, but Ivanhoe still fielded a total of 17 teams in e competition, which saw the men's team run four legs and the ladies three legs.

For the men, the first team home for Ivanhoe and 5th overall in 45.40 were the "B" team of Matt Dumelow (11.03), Phil Stevenson (11.50), James Cox (11.27) and Matt Pleass (11.20) the latter running his second leg of the night! Behind them in 6th but winning the men vets prize with a time of 46.06 were the "A" team of Gerard Eivors (11.46), Ramzi Sidani (11.29), Richard Martin (11.33) and Craig Hinds (11.18). In 7th was the next Ivanhoe team ("D") timed at 46.23 and including Matt Pleass with 11.02 posting the ninth fastest time on the night, Alastair Burgwin (11.22), Osian Flowers (11.41) and Andy Lindley (12.18). The eighth and ninth teams back were also Ivanhoe Runners, the "C" team clocking 46.44 with Nick Rowles running a swift 11.14, Sean Henry 11.58, Alastair Chambers 11.25 and Tom Smith 12.07; while the "F" team ran 46.48 with Craig Hinds 11.32, Ian Bolton 11.23, Matt Brocklehurst a very quick 11.02 and Martin Yeomans 12.51.

The next team home were led off by Louis Barnes (12.19), followed by Kevin Brown (12.59), mark Parker (11.41) and Matt Dumelow on his second leg of the night (12.01), clocking 49 minutes overall to finish 16th. Team H were 20th overall in 54.35 with Tim Moore 14.45, Kev Wright 14.07, Martin Rowse 12.58 and Patrick Horn 12.45, while team "G" finished 23rd in 55.37 with Matt Joyce (13.23), Richard Bebbington (13.54), Jez Millington-Pipe (16.30) and Ramzi Sidani on his second run of the night (11.50).
