Half marathoners were also out at the races - Steve Rundell did the Road to Recovery half marathon from near Melton Mowbray in 1.35.00, while in the same race Karen Bell clocked 1.52.05.

In the tough Trail half marathon at Coed y Brenin in Wales, Phil Stevenson clocked 1.49.55 in 43rd place while his new spouse Ingrid clocked 2.15.46.
