Alistair Chambers had a great run in the Clowne Half Marathon to finish 3rd vet 50 in 1:26:07, 26th overall. In the Conwy Half Marathon in North Wales, Ivanhoe exile Nigel Holmes ran an impressive 1:42 over a challenging course. Meanwhile five members took on the Heanor 10k Christmas Pudding run and despite the hilly course there were personal bests galore. First home setting an impressive new fastest time of 43:36 was Rebecca Hallam, 109th overall and 14th lady. Richard Bebbington was next finishing in a new personal best time of 47:05 (213). Julia Blewitt-Jenkins performed the perfect captain’s role pacing Emily Starkie and Ruth Green to their first ever sub-50 minute 10k runs – Emily finishing in 286th in 49:22, Julia 296th in 49:28 and Ruth 298th in 49:29. Angela Bebbington completed the Ivanhoe team with yet another personal best of 58:46. The ladies team finished a fantastic 6th out of 27 teams to complete a very successful weekend for Ivanhoe Runners
