In the Carl Rutt Hermitage 10k first home with a great run was Dave Hobbs, 78th in 41:38 closely followed by Clare Fowell, 98th overall and 9th lady in 42:58. Becca Hallam was next (15th lady and 138th overall, 44:44) ahead of Nick Lee-Smith (167th, 46:03). Kevin Brown was next, running his first 10k for the club (248th, 49:56) crossing the line ahead of Matthew Joyce despite his faster chip time due to starting further back (256th, 49:51). Karen Hartland continued her great season next (273rd, 50:35) followed by Natalie Rowe, running her first 10k race for ten years in an excellent time (307th, 51:52). Next came a trio of Ivanhoe ladies lead by Carolyn Osborne (333rd, 53:12) ahead of Anne Newbery (343rd, 53:54) and Emma Kirtland (360th, 54:36). Teresa Talbott finished strongly (405th, 57:21) ahead of another good run from Sarah Malone (421st, 59:05). Tony Burnley made his debut race for the club supporting the team well as he finished in 1:01:37 (450th) with Grania Towle completing the team (1:04:53, 486th), great performances by all runners.
