Sticking with a challenging off road event Mike Trott ran the Beacon Hill half marathon and did superbly to finish in 4th place in 1:29:08. Continuing the muddy off road theme Fiona Speirs took on the tough Beast 5 mile run over obstacles and finished well in 1:09:23. Elsewhere Clare Fowell chose the Coventry 10k race and had a brilliant run to finish 1st in age group and 4th lady overall just outside her personal best. Jason and Ruth Green travelled up North for the Preston 10 mile road race and both made their journey worthwhile with great performances. In his first ever 10 mile race Jason finished well inside his target time in 1:20:25 in 249th place. Ruth set a new personal best as she finished in 1:22:47 in 273rd place overall rounding off a very successful weekend for the club.
