Six Ivanhoe Runners took part in the Beacon Hill Solstice Run on Friday evening enjoying the “undulating-to-hilly” 5 mile trail race set within the boundaries of the Beacon Hill Country Park. First home in his first race in Ivanhoe colours was Dave Hobbs with a great run seeing him finish in 23st place in 36:44 closely followed by his soon-to-be wife Becca Hallam who stormed to a new personal best time of 36:52 which was fast enough for her to take the 1st lady prize (25th overall). Andy Lindley was next in a very pleasing time of 37:52 (33rd place) followed by Andy Pawley, 48th in 39:22. Seran Bradley and Julie Henfrey ran the race in fancy dress as part of a hen night, finishing in 1:03:44 and 1:03:45 (203rd and 204th places).
