A team of runners took on the Wymeswold Waddle, a low key rural 5 mile race. First home for the club was Kev Wright in 45th place (34:12) ahead of Andy Lindley, 55th in 35:19. Next came ladies captain Laura Graves setting yet another new personal best and a new club record of 37:12 (77th) ahead of Rebecca Wilkinson who also had a fantastic run to beat her previous best time and finish in 37:52 (88th) ahead of Carolyn Osborne, 106th in 39:28 and Emma Kirtland with another new personal fastest time of 41:48 (136th). Heather Swan was next with a strong run, 151st in 42:34. Next came Seran Bradley, 191st in 45:42 seconds ahead of Gabby Smith, 193rd in 45:51 and Lauren Howells who had an excellent race to finish 204th in 47:42. Finally over in New York, Richard Martin had an excellent run in the New York City 10k coming 88th in 38:27, just seconds outside his best time.
