A small team of Ivanhoe Runners completed the Sinfin Classic 10k race over a pleasant flat course at Elvaston Castle. First home for the club was Alistair Chambers in an excellent 33rd place in 40:12 with Kev Wright not far behind after another great run, 56th in 42:27. Ladies captain Laura Graves was next storming to a new personal best time of 46:45 which brought her home 15th lady (110th overall) and 2nd vet 45. Lynda Revill was next with another fast run, 29th lady (141st) in 48:25 just ahead of Jason Green who set a new personal fastest time of 48:53 (152nd). Victoria Smith was next, also beating her previous personal best finishing 31st lady (159th overall) in 49:13 ahead of Ruth Green, 38th lady in 50:56 (191st). Heather Swan and Ellen Charles completed the team, Heather finishing 97th lady (206th) in 57:58 and Ellen having a fine debut 10k finishing 103rd lady (316th) in 58:22.
