Some Ivanhoe Runners used the Belvoir half marathon as a final test before the London marathon on 23rd April. Ian Bolton was first home for the club in 40th place in 1.29.45, ahead of London bound Andy Jeyes 102nd in 1.38.23, andy also being the second vet 60. Tracey Powell shaved a new personal best as she ran 1.51.02 (226th), ahead of Ruth Enion who ran 1.54.30 to finish 263rd. David Walker was next home in 1.57.38 (289th), before Marie Concannon finished in a new personal best time of 2.10.44 (381st). Janet Joyce continued her London preparations with a run of 2.29.06 (456th), setting her up nicely for two weeks time.

Finally, new member Helen Finn ran 58.15 for 10k at Derby on her debut for the club, an excellent run and rounding off a very busy weekend for Ivanhoe Runners.
