In the Draycote Water 10k, Clare Fowell finished first lady and 16th overall with a blistering 42.30 clocking, while in the Gayton 10k Grania Towle clocked 1.00.41 to finish 126th overall. Ivanhoe’s sole representative in the recent Leicestershire county cross-country championships was Chris Lockhart, and he finished an excellent 32nd in 45.36.

The Derby midweek series continues to attract the interest of Ivanhoe Runners, and in the latest 1 mile event Matt Pleass was 7th in 5.23 and Andy Lindley was 36th in 7.05. In the 5k, Matt Pleass was 15th in 18.47, Andy Lindley 35th in 20.07, Karen Bell 55th (22.04), Sam Toon 76th (26.18) and Helen Brandon 87th in 31.40. In the Wildest Peak 27k trail race, new member Mark Hoult was 64th in 2.52.06.
