A very damp Saturday saw the Seagrave Wolds Challenge, an approximately 16 mile cross-country race that always attracts Ivanhoe Runners, especially given the number of tea and cake stations en route. Ian Bolton set a blistering pace to come home first for the Club, clocking 2.10.52 in 36th place, while running together were Tim Sturla (2.40.40), Alan Edwards (2.40.47) and Ian Kirk (2.40.51) finishing in positions 150 to 152. Richard Bebbington was 173rd in 2.46.56, ahead of a large group led by Andy Lindley (196th, 2.49.25), along with Karen Bell (197th, 2.49.29) , Andrea Trickett (200th, 2.49.44) and Damon Bland (202nd 2.49.52), the latter none the worse for is encounter with an electric fence!

Karen Hartland ran 3.15.30 fresh from the New York marathon, ahead of another Ivanhoe grouping proving this is a very sociable event, Ange Bebbington (3.45.38) leading home Grania Towle (3.45.44) and Karen Edwards (3.44.47).
