Away from the mud and water, Jez Millington-Pipe ran the Worksop Harriers Halloween Half Marathon and recorded a time of 2:05:31, a new personal best for the distance. Also running the event were Mark Parker and Emily Partridge, Mark clocking 1.37.58 and Emily clocking a pleasing 1.57.57.

In the Skeleton Run, held on Friday on a Beacon hill course, Ivanhoe Runners were well represented with Phil Stevenson finishing 7th in 35.41, Sarah Terry finishing 9th overall and first lady in 36.14, the same time as husband Simon Terry in 10th. Carolyn Osbourne and Ingrid Stevenson clocked 45.11 and 45.12 respectively.
