Going for longer distances this weekend were Tim Sturla, Ian Kirk and Alistair Chambers. Tim and Ian returned to their ultra distance challenges with the Ponton Plod, a 28 mile off-road event in Lincolnshire, where they clocked 4 hors 55 minutes, while Alistair Chambers went for the roads around the Wash as he completed the Hull Marathon in a swift 3 hours 3 minutes 11 seconds. This placed Alistair an impressive 28th overall and 3rd in his age category.
