With no league races last weekend, Friday saw a group of Ivanhoe Runners take on the Colin Potter 10k in Derby. Mark Parker was first home in 42.55, ahead of Patrick Horn who set a new personal best for the distance of 46.01. Karen Bell was the first of the two Ivanhoe ladies home, clocking 46.57, while Emily Partridge ran 49.17, Between them, Kev Wright clocked 48.32. Finally Tim Moore finished in 51.04.

Ian Kirk continued collecting marathons, this time the very tough and hilly Potteries marathon. Despite the hills, he clocked an impressive 3.47.09 finishing 87th overall.

Jez Millington-Pipe made his debut at the half marathon, running the Birmingham Black Country half marathon, and was pleased with his time of 2.17.12.
