The Leicester 5k evening series saw Ivanhoe Runners dominate the most recent event, with strong performances bringing Ivanhoe the men's and women's team prizes and age group winning prizes for Andy Lindley, Karen Hartland and Karen Bell. Matt Dumelow was first home for Ivanhoe in a brilliant second place in 18.49, while Mark Parker was seventh in 19.45 and James Cox 9th with a new personal best of 20.09. James Cubitt was 11th in 20.16 then Andy Lindley 12th in a fine 20.24, just outside his PB.

Andrea Trickett led the Ivanhoe ladies to their team prize, claiming a personal best in 5th as she clocked 22.24. Karen Bell picked up her age group win as she finished in 22.58, just ahead of Victoria Smith 23.10 and then Karen Hartland picking up a prize with 23.29. Emily Partridge was next in 23.52, then Carolyn Osborne 24.50, alongside Kev Wright 24.52 and Ruth Cousin setting a personal best in 24.54.

Jenny Hope ran 29.07, followed by Helen Thurogood in 31.01 and Sonia Hoult in 34.03 to round off a great night at the races!

Emily Partridge had also run the Grantham Summer Solstice 10k, clocking 48.57. Meanwhile Grania Towle was Ivanhoe's sole representative in the Rothley 10k, clocking 1.01.46.
