In the Sinfin 10k, an in-form Phil Stevenson ran 38.42 to finish in 26th place, easily beating his previous best for the distance, and which he put down to the rapid speed-work he had done the previous day. He was just ahead of Alistair Chambers 34th in 38.55. Finally Laura Collier ran 50.55 in 162nd place
