In the Liverpool Rock n Roll half marathon, Mark Parker had a storming run to knock four minutes off his previous best half marathon time, as he clocked 1.36.13 in 354th place, while Emily Partridge ran 1.54.39 in 1,668th place. Meanwhile in the Buxton half marathon Karen Bell ran 2 hours and eight seconds on the tough, hilly course which included over 1,500 feet of climb.
