Over in Burton, Ramzi Sidani led the Ivanhoe Runners team home with a brilliant 4th place and winning the first vet40 prize with a swift 1.01.43 time. Ian Bolton was a brilliant 12th in 1.03.51, while new member Matthew Brocklehurst made his debut and ran 1.05.15 in 20th, followed by men’s captain Nick Rowles, who gained a new personal best for ten miles as he finished 22nd in 1.05.18. Just behind in 26th Phil Stevenson also gained a new personal best, 1.06.13, with the enforced lay-off from biking clearly benefitting his running! Louis Barnes made his ten mile debut and set a mark of 1.10.03 in 47th, while Matt Joyce was another personal best-setter in 76th with 1.15.34. Rosie Dear was first Ivanhoe lady home, clocking 1.17.56. Ladies captain Victoria Smith was next, and delighted to set a new personal best time of 1.19.47, ahead of Kev Wright running 1.21.04. Karen Hartland ran 1.24.07, followed by Karen Bell 1.26.01 and Grania Towle 1.40.48.
