With the snow and ice leading to the cancellation of many of the weekend’s events including the Markfield 10k and the Conkers parkrun, Ivanhoe Runners had to be happy with a bit of parkrun touring on Saturday to those events still on.

Three members travelled to Rushcliffe, with Andy Jeyes (21.37), and Sally Jeyes (25.44) making their first trip there, while Kevin Sanders made a late dash there and clocked 26.33 with a dodgy hamstring. Anne Newbury clocked 24.42 at Kingsway, Gloucester, one second slower than Karen Hartland clocked at Long Eaton.

Several Ivanhoe Runners shot down the A42 to Kingsbury Water Park, with new members Mark Parker and Emily Partridge clocking 22.35 and 26.28 respectively, split by the Hobbs family with Dave running 25.17 and Becca 26.25. Over at Newark, Bob White clocked 24.24 on his home turf.
