17/03/2022 - parkrunday!

Another week, another parkrunday report, so where we were at on Saturday 12 March 2022.

For @conkersparkrun event number 512, 31 Ivanhoes rocked up to the start line for the 5K to begin their weekend. No milestones to call out from Conkers this week, but I notice Martin Yeomans was completing his penultimate parkrun before that century milestone.

Completing his ⭐️ 50th parkrun ⭐️ at our next local run at @roslistonparkrun was Shaun Coulton, finishing the twisty and likely quite muddy in places route, home through the funnel in third position for the 7th time he’s ran there.

In third placing for the ladies was Sandra Lawless down south at Lymington Woodside parkrun. Sandra completed the lapped course at Woodside Gardens for the first time.

Sticking with the coastal locations, Judith Webster-Sanders added a second visit to Hunstanton Promenade parkrun to her results page, where she achieved the top age grade performance of the day with 72.83%.

Mark Parker and Emily Partridge joined up with a group of friends at @leicestervictoriaparkrun , some of which were completing their first ever parkrun.

At @beacon_parkrun__ in Lichfield, Andrea Allen was completing the course for the first time. Normally a regular at Conkers, Andrea added a 14th different event to her parkrun CV.

This week on volunteer duty pre run at Conkers were Pete and Laura Graves who supported on car park marshalling. Bob White was running the show at @newark.parkrun , making sure everything went smoothly in his run director vest. At Swadlincote on junior parkrunday, Emily Partridge was token giver outer-er, Chris Osborne was barcode scanner-er, Ken Ashton was a clapper and cheerer-er, and Mark Parker was the bringer up the rear-er.
