Racing this week kicked off with the Derby Midweek 5k races. Richard Martin was first back for the club in a speedy 18:56, followed by Mark Bradford 21:43 in his debut Derby 5k. Andy Lindley paced Andrea Tricket round to a new personal best of 21:52, with Karen Bell close behind at 22:09. Helen Brandon, improving all the time clocked 32:06.

Andy and Andrea both also took part in the 1 mile event with 6.14 for Andy and 6.55 for Andrea.

In the East Midlands 10k Mark Parker was first in with a time of 41:46, with Emily Partridge continuing her return to form in an excellent 49:49. Jayne Bradshaw was next in 1:05:12, with Sophie Turner in 1:05:57 with her debut run for Ivanhoe. Next in was Fiona Speirs and Michelle Withley 1:06:27 and 1:07:11 respectively, then Jemma Coleman also in her first race for the club clocking 1:07:25 and completing the Ivanhoe team.

Finally Club Chairman Heather Swan ticked another of the World Marathon Majors off her list with the Tokyo Marathon. Enjoying the fabulous course and support, weeks of hard training paid off to earn a very respectable time of 4 hours 29 minutes.
