Sunday 4th was the day of the Bowline Charnwood Hills Race, a fell race of over 14 miles taking in the stunning scenery of Broombriggs farm, Beacon Hill, and Bradgate park. Always a popular race, this was no exception with all Ivanhoe runners reporting enjoyable runs.

Ramzi Sidani was first back, and delighted with his 16th place in 1:42:42. Andy Lindley came in with a time of 2:06:30, just 1 minute slower than last years race on a slightly longer, tougher course. Finishing in 2:23:31 was Martin Yeomans, followed by Teresa Talbott in 2:41:10.

The Hope family completed the 10k London Winter Run. Richard Hope ran in 49:15, followed by Jenny with a new PB 56:42 PB. Laura completed in 58:04 for team Hope.

Up in Yorkshire, Julie Taylor completed the Rombalds Stride, a wet and muddy 22 mile trail race, finishing in an excellent 4 hours 32 despite the tough conditions.
