This weekend was another varied one for Ivanhoe Runners. Several members participated in the Loughborough half marathon. Fastest with an excellent 68th placed finish was Steve Rundell in 1:31:41. Next came Karen Bell and Damon Bland who ran together and enjoyed the course as they finished in 223rd and 224th places (1:45:31 and 1:45:08). Karen Hartland, next, had a fantastic race continuing her excellent season with a fine new personal best of 1:47:49 (273rd) ahead of Duncan Ross, 286th in 1:49:28 and Andy Lindley, 446th in 1:58:45. New member Sandra Lawless showed amazing progress as she completed her first half marathon in an impressive 2:07:38 in 552nd place. Also making her half marathon debut, this time at Silverstone, was Natasha Quick, performing very well to finish in 2:19:54 (5176th place). Nick Lee-Smith ran the same event crossing in 1:56:54 in 2887th place.
