Race results


The rain held off for the Joy Cann Huncote 5 event on Wednesday evening, the 31st July, with 17 runners representing Ivanhoe in this next LRRL event.

Tom Potter led the way for Ivanhoe, coming in 42nd position but first U18M in a swift 29:59. Richard Martin was next over the line with 31:22, followed by Mark Parker in 32:02.

Louis Barnes finished in 32:44, ahead of Mark Bradford in 34:21. Richard Bebbington cashed in on recent Ironman training with another new PB, crossing the line 2 positions in front of Damon Bland, both clocking 35:09.

First female Ivanhoe finisher was Emily Partridge in a speedy 36:41, leading a group of ladies, including Victoria Smith returning to form in 38:51, ahead of Nancy Bennion with a new PB (40:02), Sue Tait (40:41) and Ange Bebbington in 42:40.

Mukesh Deva was the next home in a blue vest with 42:52, followed by Helen Finn at 44:21. Jane Bland had a good run to take a new PB time clocking 47:47, ahead of Jess Southwart in 48:28 and Julie Henfrey 1:01:49.
