Worthington 5

Race Information

Ivanhoe Runners organise the Worthington 5, a low-key mid-week midsummer race held over a one lap rural five mile TRAIL route (but road shoes recommended). The race is also part of the Burton and District Summer League in which Ivanhoe Runners competes as a club. Net proceeds from race entries is donated to a local charity.

On the same night from the same venue, Ivanhoe Robins hold a one mile fun run for children.

The race is usually held on a Tuesday evening in July; 2018's race was on Tuesday 10th July.

Congratulations to everyone that came out to compete in the 2016 Worthington 5 on a cold and wet evening. Hopefully everyone was able to get their cars out of the rather muddy field without too much difficulty! Here is a link to the 2016 results.

Thanks to all who ran the 2015 Worthington 5. Attendance was up on last year with 211 finishers and there were many excellent times and strong team performances. The course was again slightly different this year finishing up by the Malt Shovel pub.
